    Bank of Communications has set up 21 overseas subsidiaries, branches and representative offices in Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Frankfurt, Macau, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Sydney, San Francisco, Taipei, Toronto, Brisbane, Luxembourg, Paris, Rome and Rio de Janeiro with a total of 66 overseas operating outlets (excluding the representative offices).

Bank of Communications Macau Branch was established in November 2007. The Branch's main services include Deposit, Loan, International Settlement, Trade Finance, Asset Management, FX for corporate customers and Deposit, Loan, Mortgage, FX for personal customers. It also provides investment and wealth management services, including Security, Fund, Insurance, Private banking and Trust.

Bank of Communications Hong Kong Branch was established in 1934. The Branch's main services include Deposit, Loan, International Settlement, Trade Finance, FX, Cross-border RMB for corporate customers and Mortgage, Loan, Credit Card, FX for personal customers. It also provides other financial services, including Security, Insurance, Private banking and Trust.

Bank of Communications Taipei Branch was established in July 2012. The Branch's main services include Corporate Deposit, Corporate Loan, International Settlement,Trade Finance, FX and Cross-border RMB.

Bank of Communications New York Branch was established in November 1991. The Branch's main services include Corporate Deposit, Corporate Loan, International Settlement,Trade Finance, FX, USD Clearing and Cross-border RMB.

Bank of Communications Toronto Representative Office was established in 2014. It provides Chinese and Canadian corporate customers with Consulting and Liaison services.

Bank of Communications Seoul Branch was established in August 2005 and was authorised to be the RMB Clearing Bank in Korea in 2013. The Branch's main services include Deposit, Loan, Remittance, Trade Settlement, Trade Finance, FX for corporate customers and Deposit, Remittance for personal customers. It also provides Clearing and Remittance services for financial institutions.

Bank of Communications Tokyo Branch was established in December 1995. The Branch's main services include Deposit, Loan, International Settlement,Trade Finance, FX, Derivatives, JPY Clearing, Cross-border RMB for corporate customers and Deposit, Loan, Remittance, Mortgage for personal customers.

BoCom (Luxembourg) S.A. was established in May 2015. Its main services include Deposit, Loan, International Settlement, Trade Finance, FX and Cross-border RMB for corporate clients.

Banco BBM S.A. was founded in 1858. After the acquisition of 80% of Banco BBM's equity by Bank of Communications in November 2016, it became Banco BOCOM BBM S.A.. The bank provides Deposit, Loan, International Settlement, Trade Finance, FX, Derivatives for corporate customers and private banking services for personal customers. It also provides investment banking services, including Bond Underwriting and Financial Consulting in Brazil and other regions in Latin America .
